Johnny Knoxville’s final Jackass film hits theaters June 26

Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass crew will bring their final film to theaters June 26, 2026, with Jackass: Best and Last marking the end of a franchise that has defined stunt comedy for 25 years.

The fifth and final installment in the series is directed by Jeff Tremaine and distributed by Paramount Pictures. According to Wikipedia, the film will be a compilation of stunts, skits, and pranks intercut with on-set talking heads from the cast.

Jackass: Best and Last blends old and new material. Paramount Pictures describes it as “featuring all-new stunts and stupidity along with the greatest hits and biggest laughs from the past,” creating what the studio calls “a joyously raucous celebration of all the mischievous camaraderie” the franchise has built over its 25-year run. This approach allows the film to honor the series’ history while delivering fresh content for audiences.

The film comes four years after Jackass Forever, which released in 2022 and was itself once positioned as a potential finale. The original Jackass television series began in 2000, and the franchise has since expanded into multiple theatrical releases. The returning cast includes Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Dave England, Danger Ehren, Preston Lacy, and Zach Holmes.

Knoxville confirmed the finality of this installment in an interview with Rolling Stone in February 2026, stating that Jackass: Best and Last will be the series’ last film. He emphasized there would be no “Jackass 5.5” or future continuation, according to Rotten Tomatoes. The announcement came after months of anticipation following Knoxville’s initial reveal of the project on social media in January 2026, with Variety confirming the June 26 theatrical release date.
