Katie Price issues ultimatum to jailed husband Lee Andrews over £140k bail

Katie Price has issued an ultimatum to her husband Lee Andrews, demanding answers about his arrest and legal troubles in Dubai or she will end their marriage. The former glamour model, 48, visited Andrews at Al Awir Central Prison last week and spoke to him by phone from behind a barbed wire wall, according to The Sun.

Andrews, 43, is being held in the prison on property-related fraud allegations and needs £140,000 to secure his release on bail. Despite claiming to be a millionaire, Andrews pleaded with Price to set up a GoFundMe page to raise the funds. Price flatly refused.

“No one will do that for you, Lee, trust me,” she told him during a phone call, adding: “Everyone hates you.” She then delivered her ultimatum: “I need answers, and if I don’t like the answers, I’ll be gone.”

Price married Andrews in January 2026 after meeting him just days earlier in Dubai. The pair had a ceremonial wedding at the end of January, followed by a legal ceremony in February. The whirlwind romance shocked her family and friends, particularly given Andrews’ background.

Andrews was arrested last month after allegedly taking out a £200,000 mortgage in the name of his ex-partner, personal trainer Dina Taji, without her knowledge or consent. He had previously claimed he was kidnapped and detained for espionage, but it later emerged the arrest was related to private civil and financial matters.

When Price visited Dubai to help secure his release, she discovered he had been lying about his travel status. Andrews finally admitted to having a travel ban in the UAE, something he had previously denied to her. “He has a travel ban, he did eventually tell me,” Price said, noting that the real issue was his repeated false claims about flying to the UK.

Price met with Andrews’ ex-partner Dina Taji during her Dubai trip, an encounter she said “opened her eyes” to his behavior. Taji had warned her “face-to-face” about Andrews, and the meeting left Price deeply conflicted about her marriage. “My eyes have been opened. I just need some time to think,” Price revealed after the meeting.

Despite her public doubts, Price insisted she still loves Andrews and trusts him. She claimed she is “protected” by public support and warned against treating her as “a mug.” However, she made clear that when they finally meet in person, she will demand truthful answers about his actions and legal situation. “I’m not a mug, and when I finally see Lee, I am going to question him. And if the answers I get are not right, that will be it: I’ll be done,” she told The Sun.

The situation has left Price, a three-time divorcee, facing the possibility of another marriage breakdown. Sources close to her suggest she is “confused” about Andrews’ actions and fears she will “be heading to the divorce court once again.” Price appeared at Canterbury Pride over the weekend and asked the crowd whether she should leave her husband, to which the audience cheered in response.
