Ella Langley‘s “Be Her” has claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, marking her fourth career No. 1 on the survey. The single reached the summit in its 15th week, becoming the fastest climb to the top by a solo-billed woman in country music over the past decade.
Quick Facts
- “Be Her” is Ella Langley’s fourth No. 1 on Country Airplay
- The single reached the top in 15 weeks, the fastest climb by a solo woman in a decade
- Chart dated June 6, 2026; the song gained 3% to 29.8 million audience impressions
- Her previous Country Airplay No. 1 hits were “Choosin’ Texas,” “Don’t Mind If I Do,” and “You Look Like You Love Me”
A Record-Breaking Ascent
The climb of “Be Her” stands out for its speed. Among all songs dating to the Country Airplay chart’s 1990 inception, about 37% have reached No. 1 within 15 weeks or fewer. Solo-billed women, however, account for just 6% of that group. Shania Twain‘s “Love Gets Me Every Time” held the women’s record at six weeks in 1997, until Langley’s latest achievement. Over the past decade—since June 2016—no solo-billed woman has matched Langley’s pace. Her previous hit “Choosin’ Texas” took 16 weeks to reach No. 1, as did Carrie Underwood‘s “Church Bells” in 2016.
Langley’s Dominance Continues
“Be Her” arrives as part of a broader chart sweep for the Alabama native. Her breakthrough hit “Choosin’ Texas” remains in the Country Airplay top 10 at No. 6, while her duet with Morgan Wallen, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” surged to No. 13 in just its fifth week on the chart. The latter represents a rare feat—only the 13th song in the past decade to climb that high so quickly, and just one other duet featuring a woman has matched the speed: Kenny Chesney and P!nk‘s “Setting the World on Fire” in 2016.

Building on Her Breakthrough
“Be Her” follows Langley’s earlier Country Airplay No. 1 hits: “Choosin’ Texas” (three weeks in February-March 2026), “Don’t Mind If I Do” with Riley Green (one week in December 2025), and “You Look Like You Love Me,” also with Green (one week in December 2024). The song’s momentum reflects the broader success of her 2026 campaign, during which she has dominated multiple Billboard charts and earned a record-breaking seven trophies at the 2026 ACM Awards.
