The Bear’s final season trailer dropped Sunday, revealing a culinary crew facing a literal and financial flood as the Emmy-winning series heads toward its conclusion on June 25, 2026.
FX released the official trailer for the fifth and final season of the hit dramedy, showing Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) stepping up as head chef while the restaurant battles a devastating storm, a forced building sale, and dwindling funds. “I’m not gonna give up. We’re gonna keep operating,” Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) insists in the trailer, but Uncle Jimmy delivers the gut punch: “I am selling the building.”
The season picks up after Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) quit the food industry at the end of Season 4, leaving the restaurant to Sydney, Richie, and Natalie (Abby Elliott). In the new trailer, Carmy returns to the kitchen, though in a diminished role. “I look at you all, and I love you so much,” he tells the crew, while Sydney declares, “We have each other’s backs, every night.”
All eight episodes will premiere simultaneously on Hulu at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT on June 25, with FX airing the first two episodes the same night. The final season will mark the end of The Bear’s run after five seasons and more than a dozen Emmy wins across its first three seasons, including the 2023 award for outstanding comedy series.
According to the official synopsis, the final season explores whether the team can achieve one last perfect service and earn a Michelin star, ultimately asking what truly makes a restaurant “perfect.” Guest stars returning for the final chapter include Jamie Lee Curtis (as Carmy’s mother Donna), Will Poulter (as Luca), and Sarah Ramos (as Jess).
