John Leguizamo launches SuperFreak tour June 26 with 20-city summer run

John Leguizamo launches his new one-man comedy tour SuperFreak on June 26, bringing the show to 20 cities across the United States through September 1, 2026. The tour marks his return to the live stage with fresh material that covers Latino history, childhood and family, relationships, and fatherhood in his signature in-your-face comedic style.

The tour includes a notable stop at New York’s Beacon Theatre for three performances August 17-19. Leguizamo first gained acclaim in the theater world with his one-man show Mambo Mouth, which earned him an Obie and Outer Critics Circle Award, followed by Spic-O-Rama, which won the Drama Desk Award for Best Solo Performance. His most recent stage work, Freak: A Semi-Demi-Quasi Pseudo Autobiography, earned him a Tony nomination.

Beyond his theater career, Leguizamo has appeared in over 100 films, including roles in To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar and Baz Luhrman’s Romeo + Juliet. Tickets for the SuperFreak tour are available through Ticketmaster and other ticket vendors for shows throughout the summer run.
