InXile Entertainment’s Clockwork Revolution has been confirmed as an Xbox console exclusive set to arrive in 2027, bringing a time-bending steampunk RPG to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass on day one.
The first-person action RPG, developed by the creators of Wasteland and Arcanum, invites players into the Tangle, a sprawling steampunk city where they can manipulate time to reshape the world. After discovering an invention that allows travel into the past, players assume the role of Morgan Vanette and navigate a richly detailed narrative shaped by player choice and consequence.
Clockwork Revolution was first announced at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023. The game resurfaced with an extended gameplay trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, showcasing detailed weapon crafting, time-manipulation mechanics, and story sequences that demonstrated the depth of player agency the developers are building into the experience.
