Wimbledon 2026 will begin on Monday, June 29 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, with Italian champion Jannik Sinner preparing to defend his title in a two-week tournament running through July 12.
Sinner claimed his first Wimbledon championship last summer by defeating Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in the men’s singles final. The victory made him the first Italian man to win the prestigious grass-court tournament and marked his fourth Grand Slam title overall.
The 2026 Championships will span 14 days with the traditional schedule beginning with Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ Singles first-round matches on the opening Monday and Tuesday. The men’s final is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, with the ladies’ final also taking place that day. Play typically starts at 11:00 a.m. on outside courts, 1:00 p.m. on Court No. 1, and 1:30 p.m. on Centre Court.
