Chris Janson joins Keith Urban onstage at Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach

Chris Janson joined Keith Urban onstage last night at Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach, Florida, delivering a surprise performance of Urban’s hit “Days Go By” during the opening night of the four-day festival on May 28.

The two longtime friends took the stage arm in arm midway through Urban’s headlining set. Urban handled the guitar-driven anthem while Janson added his trademark harmonica, turning the song into an extended jam session that showcased both artists’ talents and sparked loud cheers from the crowd.

Following the performance, Janson posted a heartfelt message on Instagram reflecting on their friendship and Urban’s support throughout his career. “My longest standing friendship within the music business, @keithurban,” Janson wrote. “He’s always been in my corner, and i can’t tell y’all how much it means to me. He invited me to be an @opry member a few years back. So many great times together through the years. I was honored to join him tonight in Florida. It’s pure magic when we jam together. Love you KU!”

The appearance comes during a busy stretch for both performers. Urban is preparing for the release of his yacht rock album Flow State on June 12, which features Michael McDonald on the track “We Go Back.” Janson continues his summer touring schedule with several festival appearances lined up.
