Marlon Wayans teased setting a potential White Chicks 2 at Mar-a-Lago, calling the idea “not a terrible idea,” though he’s also considering other locations for the long-awaited sequel to the 2004 comedy.
In an interview with Variety published June 5, Wayans discussed the possibility of bringing the characters to Trump’s Florida resort. “White Chicks can go anywhere, but Mar-a-Lago and Florida would definitely be a fun place to make that happen and see our girls in that world,” he said, adding that the characters are flexible enough to work in any setting. “White Chicks are like Medea — you can send them to space and they’ll be funny.”
Wayans noted that he’s already debated the Mar-a-Lago concept with his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans, the original film’s director. “I just had that conversation with my big brother and I shot him down,” Wayans said, indicating other ideas are on the table. He mentioned he wants to explore different concepts, including “A Very White Chicks Christmas,” and that the team is actively discussing where to set the sequel.

The original White Chicks, which starred Shawn and Marlon Wayans as undercover FBI agents, became a cult comedy classic. A sequel has been in development limbo for years, but Wayans and his brother Shawn have confirmed that White Chicks 2 can move forward if the newly released Scary Movie 6 performs well at the box office. The brothers have made the sequel’s greenlight contingent on the success of their horror-spoof franchise’s sixth installment, which hit theaters in June 2026.
