The convention is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Repo! The Genetic Opera, the 2008 cult film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. Anthony Head starred alongside Alexa Vega, Paul Sorvino, Sarah Brightman, and Paris Hilton in the horror musical.
This year’s theme draws inspiration from iconic horror musicals including The Phantom of the Opera, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video. Additional confirmed celebrity guests include Matthew Lillard (Scream, Five Nights at Freddy’s), Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), and Jasmin Savoy Brown (Scream 5, 6, and 7).
The convention will feature the Hall of Shadows with more than a dozen haunted attractions, over 350 vendors and artists, and panels from major attractions including Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights and Knott’s Scary Farm. Single-day passes start at $42, weekend passes are $80, and VIP Gold Bat passes are $199.
