A Surprise Reveal at the Chateau
The Castle Impossible stars shared the news in an exclusive clip with PEOPLE. During a celebratory lunch on the patio of their renovated gatehouse, Daphne told her grandmother and master craftsman Tony Raggett, “So Granny and Tony, we have another small surprise for you. Look under your plate.”
Daphne’s grandmother pulled a white envelope from beneath her plate. Inside was a sonogram photo with a card that read: “Surprise, you’re going to be a super Granny to our little baby.” Tony immediately responded with congratulations, while Daphne’s grandmother expressed her delight at the upcoming arrival.

A Growing Chateau Family
Daphne and Ian inherited the 500-year-old Château de Lesigny in France, which they have been renovating since Daphne’s grandfather passed away in November 2020. The couple, who first met and briefly dated in high school, reconnected in 2015 while visiting home for the holidays. They got engaged in March 2020 and married in a private ceremony on New Year’s Eve that same year.
The timing of the pregnancy announcement coincides with another major milestone: Daphne’s grandmother is moving into the newly renovated gatehouse on the property. “I absolutely love that our little chateau family is growing,” Daphne said. “It’ll be really nice having the three generations living together.”
Daphne reflected on her lifelong dream of motherhood, saying she had wanted to be a mom since childhood. “I think I was like two and a half when I started pushing around my first doll and saying that I was going to be a mother of 10,” she explained. “I’m not going to have 10 kids, but to finally have a baby of my own? That’s really exciting.”
