The Mistakes That Still Haunt Him
Colby admits he was not proud of his performances in Survivor: All-Stars and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. At that time, he was seeking relevance and exposure in Hollywood, which clouded his gameplay. He didn’t live up to his dominant first appearance and carries regret about how he managed adversity during those seasons.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Colby reflected openly: “I was trying to be relevant and needed exposure and all those things that can cloud your ability to play this game full tilt.” This season, he aims to right those wrongs by rediscovering the authenticity and hunger he had as Survivor’s original breakout star.
Why He Came Back and What Makes Him Unique
Colby reveals he was the very first person to call Survivor casting after host Jeff Probst announced the all-star format for season 50. A Historic Season With All-Stars and Fan Input
