“I would say he finally found his way of deciding what he really wants,” Lee explained. He continued, “He finally trusts his heart and sort of leads with it. Season 3 finally delivers what fans have waited for since Season 1. Kitty Song Covey (played by Anna Cathcart) and Min Ho officially become a couple, sharing a cinematic kiss by the end of Episode 1. Throughout the season, Min Ho manages his younger sister Eunice’s music career while establishing his own identity apart from his demanding family.
The relationship isn’t smooth sailing, however. A pregnancy scare involving Eunice and Min Ho’s brother creates a trust crisis. How Season 3 Sets Up Min Ho’s Biggest Moment Yet
The season finale features Min Ho’s greatest act of vulnerability. When Kitty announces she’s attending NYU, she also reveals she’ll return to her hometown of Portland, Oregon for the summer. Rather than stay in Korea where he’s comfortable, Min Ho offers to follow her.
Lee emphasized the importance of this decision in future seasons. “He gets to see what Kitty’s life was and sort of have a deeper understanding without actually hearing it from Kitty herself,” Lee noted. This demonstrates Min Ho’s emotional maturity and willingness to step outside his privileged Seoul bubble for the woman he loves.
Will XO, Kitty Season 4 Continue Min Ho’s Story?
Lee expressed his hopes for what comes next, revealing he wants Min Ho to graduate before the series concludes. “I just want my character to graduate. It just feels more like a bow on a box,” he said. The actor is curious how Season 4 will handle Min Ho accompanying Kitty to America and whether fans will see his full character arc reach completion.
Netflix has not yet officially confirmed Season 4, but the season finale’s cliffhanger suggests plenty of material remains. Min Ho’s transformation from a conflicted music industry heir to a confident young man willing to sacrifice everything for love could inspire even more compelling storylines ahead.
