Sunday Brings Death Cab and Pacific Northwest Pride
Death Cab for Cutie closes out the festival on Sunday with hometown advantage as Seattle’s most beloved indie rock band. They’re promoting their forthcoming 11th studio album, I Built You a Tower, dropping June 5, 2026.
The local legends will be joined by Orville Peck, De La Soul, Yves Tumor, and Sudan Archives. Sunday also features experimental electronic producer Tokimonsta and Noname, celebrating the 10th anniversary of her album Telefone. ATARASHII GAKKO! and Goldie Boutilier add international and folk-influenced depth.

The 53rd Bumbershoot rolls out major changes this year beyond the legendary lineup. Festival organizers implemented a sip and stroll policy, ending the beer garden confinement era.
Attendees can now carry open beverages across the entire venue. Three ticket tiers give fans flexibility: general admission, general admission with re-entry, and a deluxe option with parking, dedicated entry, private viewing areas, and 21+ lounges. The festival returns to tradition with art exhibits, fashion shows, comedy performances, skateboarding competitions, and wrestling events.

Death Cab Launches North American Tour This Summer
Death Cab for Cutie will launch their North American tour on July 10 in Minneapolis, supporting the new album. The run wraps August 9 at Outside Lands in San Francisco before heading to Europe in September for additional dates.
Turnstile continues their 2026 festival circuit with appearances at Coachella, Kilby Block Party, Bonnaroo, Osheaga, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Shaky Knees. Bikini Kill kicks off a proper tour in September immediately following Bumbershoot, with a summer set at Mosswood Meltdown in Oakland scheduled for July.
