T-Mobile has refreshed its postpaid lineup with expanded entertainment perks, a move that could reshape what subscribers expect from phone plans this summer. The carrier is bundling popular streaming services and other member benefits into higher-tier plans — a clear attempt to add value beyond minutes and data.
T-Mobile’s updated offers center on broad streaming access and short-term trials of music and audio services. For customers deciding whether to switch networks or upgrade, these additions can reduce separate streaming bills and make some premium plans more appealing than basic options.
What the new perks include
Across selected plans, T-Mobile now provides:
- Netflix included at no extra charge on qualifying plans.
- Hulu also included on the top-tier option.
- Apple TV+ available for a reduced fee of $3 per month (covers live sports like Formula 1, MLB and MLS programming).
- Four months of Pandora Premium at no cost and six months of SiriusXM All Access for ad-free music, podcasts and news.
These services are stacked in ways that vary by plan level; the precise combination depends on which T-Mobile package a customer chooses.
Plan-level highlights
Two plans stand out for entertainment value. The mid-tier option — priced at about $85 per month — includes a complimentary Netflix subscription and offers Apple TV+ for a token monthly fee. The premium tier, around $100 per month, bundles both Netflix and Hulu at no extra cost, maintains the Apple TV+ add-on at $3 per month, and adds unlimited mobile hotspot access.
Lower-cost phone plans remain available starting near $50 per month, but they do not come with the same streaming inclusions.
Switching incentives and device promotions
For customers worried about device payments, T-Mobile is offering a Keep and Switch program that can reimburse up to $800 per line — a material credit for people moving from other carriers. That offer sits alongside limited-time device promotions that can substantially reduce the cost of flagship phones, including deals tied to the iPhone 17 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S26+.
Additional member advantages
Beyond streaming, the carrier has broadened its lifestyle perks. Current extras include a year of DoorDash DashPass, discounts on movie and concert tickets (sometimes up to 25% off), 15% savings on Hilton bookings for members, and a complimentary one-year AAA membership in participating promotions.
At major live events such as music festivals and high-profile races, T-Mobile operates member-only lounges called Club Magenta. These spaces aim to give subscribers a more comfortable experience — shaded seating, a private bar with discounted drinks and other on-site amenities — without needing VIP-level tickets.
Why this matters now
Carriers are increasingly competing on perks as data becomes commoditized. T-Mobile’s strategy ties non-telecom services directly to specific plans, which can tilt the cost-benefit calculation for customers who already pay for streaming. If you stream frequently, the bundled services could offset part of your monthly media subscriptions.
Still, these offerings are tiered and time-limited in cases, so the net savings depend on which services you use most and whether you keep the plan long term.
- For streamers: The premium plan is the most attractive if you regularly use both Netflix and Hulu.
- For switchers: The Keep and Switch reimbursement and device promos may lower the barrier to move carriers.
- For event-goers: Club Magenta adds on-the-ground perks at concerts and festivals.
T-Mobile continues its weekly T-Mobile Tuesdays promotions as well, offering small, recurring benefits such as free snacks, fuel rewards and dining discounts.
