Meet White Fox, the Mystical Kumiho Hero
Ami Han, known as White Fox, brings Korean folklore mythology to Marvel Rivals. She is the last of the mystical nine-tailed fox shapeshifters called Kumiho in Korean legend. As a Strategist role hero, she combines espionage training with supernatural shapeshifting abilities.
White Fox wields Yeowoo Guseul fox marbles to heal allies and damage enemies simultaneously. Her ultimate transformation into a nine-tailed fox form lets her buff teammates and charm foes in combat. Unlike pure damage dealers, she focuses on close-quarter support combat alongside her team.

The Universal 20% Ultimate Ability Nerf Explained
For the first time in Marvel Rivals history, NetEase is nerfing every single character with a 20% reduction to ultimate ability charge rates. This sweeping change targets the constant spam of ultimate abilities that has dominated recent seasons. The developer aims to slow down the pace of ultimate availability across all heroes.
Later in the season, crowd control effects will receive additional nerfs to further reshape combat strategies. This universal nerf forces teams to think more carefully about when they deploy ultimates instead of relying on constant availability.
Which Heroes Are Getting Buffs and Nerfs in Season 7
| Hero | Status | Role |
| Hulk | Buffed | Vanguard |
| Blade | Buffed | Duelist |
| Black Panther | Buffed | Duelist |
| Iron Man | Buffed | Duelist |
| Elsa Bloodstone | Nerfed | Duelist |
| Doctor Strange | Nerfed | Vanguard |
Seven heroes are receiving buffs including Scarlet Witch, Deadpool (Duelist version), and Luna Snow. The nerfs target five heroes, with Elsa Bloodstone and Doctor Strange facing the largest adjustments. Emma Frost and Magik are receiving changes that partially adjust their mechanics rather than straight buffs or nerfs.
“White Fox wields the power of her Kumiho bloodline alongside swift martial arts, adapting her combat style to fit any battle situation.”

New Lower Manhattan Map Launches April 2 with Fresh Team-Ups
Lower Manhattan becomes the newest Convergence mode map, featuring iconic New York City locations where Marvel Rivals heroes clash. The map launches April 2, 2026, giving developers time to polish gameplay and balance metrics.
Two brand new Team-Ups enhance existing hero synergies. Luna Snow gains a protective spirit fox ability with White Fox that heals allies and damages enemies. Adam Warlock now leaves behind healing energy trails when using Cosmic Cyclone with Storm. Meanwhile, Jeff-Nado and Duality Dance Team-Ups are being removed to consolidate the synergy system.
What Else Is Coming This Season Beyond the Patch Notes
An exclusive Loki MCU collaboration launches to coincide with December’s Avengers: Doomsday theatrical release. Players face the God of Mischief in an asymmetric mode inspired by his 2012 Avengers film appearance. Ten heroes are receiving new cosmetic accessories, including White Fox, Ultron, Iron Fist, and Elsa Bloodstone. Black Cat, the second new hero, arrives April 2 during Season 7.5, balancing Marvel’s newest character releases across the season.
Will These Changes Really Reshape the Marvel Rivals Meta Heading Into Summer
The universal Ultimate nerf fundamentally changes team fight timing and strategic hero selection. Teams relying on spammable ultimates must adapt their positioning and engagement windows. Support-heavy team-ups gain value as players re-evaluate which heroes complement the slower ultimate economy.
Early community reactions suggest Blade buffs will make him viable again after seasons of irrelevance. Luna Snow becomes critically important with her new White Fox synergy for healing-dependent compositions. Patch details drop March 20, revealing exact damage percentages and ability cooldown changes that will determine Season 7’s true competitive landscape and casual player experience.
