Why Is the Show Taking a Week Off?
The planned hiatus comes during ongoing Olympics coverage on NBC, which started February 6. According to FOX, the network is strategically spacing remaining episodes to maintain momentum throughout the rest of the season. Season 14 already aired a new episode on February 11 during the Games, so this break helps keep the show on track for its recently announced finale date.
Rather than airing a repeat episode, FOX is broadcasting a special rerun of The Real Full Monty, a cancer awareness benefit special. The timing honors Dawson’s Creek and Masked Singer Season 13 contestant James Van Der Beek, who sadly passed from colorectal cancer on February 11.

What’s Airing Instead of The Masked Singer?
FOX will air an encore broadcast of The Real Full Monty tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The two-hour cancer awareness special originally aired in December 2024 as a fundraiser for cancer research and testing. It features six male celebrities performing striptease routines to raise awareness for prostate, testicular, and colorectal cancer causes.
The special features Anthony Anderson as host, with performances by Taye Diggs, Tyler Posey, Bruno Tonioli, Chris Jones, and Van Der Beek. Emmy-winning choreographer Mandy Moore designed the routines, with appearances from Don Cheadle, Joel McHale, and Mario Lopez. Who Performs on Spice Girls Night?
The network has already revealed which three remaining contestants will perform on February 25: Snow Cone, Crane, and Pugcasso. A special guest panelist is also returning for this episode. Taraji P. Henson, who was unmasked earlier this season as Scarab, will join the panel for the Spice Girls Night celebration, creating a fun full-circle moment for fans.
Currently, 10 contestants remain in the competition, including 14 Karat Carrot, Cat Witch, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage, Pangolin, and Stingray.
