Justin Renteria

This image was sent to our PO box from the artist and contained the following text:

For the last several years, residents of the Harbor Gateway neighborhood of Los Angeles have been terrorized by members of the 204th Street gang. The predominantly Hispanic 204s have been targeting African Americans, children in particular. As a Hispanic, I am sickened. As a human being, I am outraged. I abhor all gang violence, but this kind of hate fueled murder and intimidation is beyond unacceptable. I hoped that to call attention to the situation with this piece, and to say that I, along with the vast majority of Hispanics, condemn this kind of behavior. My deepest sympathies go out to the victims of the 204s, and their families.

Guns do not belong in society.
Not any more.
People are out of control, and the NRA looks the other way.
The NRA is full of bs when it says that guns don't kill people, and people kill people.
The fact is that people use guns to kill other people.
Tell your leaders that you do NOT want guns in society!
The next death may be yours.
Don't believe me?
Just look at your town or city.
Enough said.
I am,

George Vreeland Hill

I think everyone should have background checks for guns, even if it takes a month to get your gun, that should not be a problem. If you need a gun at that very moment, there is a problem. And automatic guns should not be allowed, because you can only hunt with automatic/semi-automatics i believe, only in Texas, which is wrong. Automatics/Semi-automatics should not be allowed. And the NRA should limit who and how many guns certain people should have, and monitor their uses of the guns. This would limit, hopefully eliminate, gang violence.
