Method 1: Online Voting allows fans to visit idolvote.abc.com and cast votes directly from their computer or device. Voters must create an account to participate. The online portal updates automatically to reflect current contestants performing each episode.
Method 2: Text Voting enables quick participation via SMS text message. Fans text their chosen contestant’s assigned number to 21523. Each contestant receives a unique number displayed during the broadcast. Text voting works from any mobile phone with service.
Method 3: Social Media Voting is the brand-new option for Season 24. Fans visit the official American Idol accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and comment on the pinned voting post with their favorite contestant’s name. One comment equals one vote. This accessible method lets fans participate during the live broadcast in real-time.
Top 20 Contestants Competing Tonight
The second half of Top 20 performers taking the stage tonight includes Philmon Lee, Rae, Lucas Leon, Jordan McCullough, Abayomi, Madison Moon, Chris Tungseth, Ruby Rae, Julián Kalel, and Keyla Richardson. These contestants performed with mentorship from superstar Brad Paisley and Keke Palmer, who coached all finalists during the Hawaiian retreat.
