Vegas party set as Snoop Dogg to perform at Tailgate Beach Club grand opening at Mandalay Bay

Snoop Dogg is set to perform at the grand opening of the new Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay on May 16, bringing a sports-first dayclub concept to the Las Vegas Strip as the NBA and NHL playoffs heat up. The timing and location — just steps from Allegiant Stadium — make the launch an immediate draw for fans seeking a live-game atmosphere with a pop-culture soundtrack.

Clique Hospitality, the operator behind the project, bills the venue as a permanent game-day destination where fans can watch major matchups outdoors while enjoying a dayclub setting. The space combines large-format viewing technology with resort-style amenities aimed at bettors, season-ticket holders and casual visitors alike.

Tailgate Beach Club will open Thursday through Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. PT, with plans to stay open later for marquee contests. Mandalay Bay executives describe the concept as a hybrid between a sports bar and a Las Vegas dayclub: lounging areas and cabanas flank multiple pools while continuous live coverage is delivered across expansive LED displays.

What the venue offers

  • Three heated pools and a resort layout designed for daytime events.
  • 125 feet of LED screens providing near 360-degree views of live games.
  • Private bungalows and cabanas for groups and VIPs.
  • On-site games and social activities, including PlayStation stations, beer pong, foosball and ping pong.
  • Extended hours during primetime matchups and playoff weekends.

Andy Masi, founder of Clique Hospitality, framed the choice of Snoop Dogg as intentional: his long-standing public role at the intersection of sports and entertainment makes him a fitting artist to inaugurate a venue focused on both. Mandalay Bay’s senior management called the club a new way to merge live sports viewing with the energy of the Strip.

The club’s location — adjacent to Allegiant Stadium — gives it a distinctive advantage on event days. Fans attending games or concerts nearby will have a close, stadium-style gathering spot without leaving the resort corridor, and the setup is explicitly designed to stay active through late-night showdowns.

For Las Vegas hospitality and nightlife operators, Tailgate Beach Club represents a further blurring of lines between sporting events and resort entertainment. It could draw a different profile of daytime traffic to the Strip, particularly during the late-spring and summer sports calendar.

Tickets, reservation policies and pricing for cabanas and bungalows were not immediately disclosed. Organizers say more details will be released ahead of the May 16 opening.
