Policy with Respect to the Use of Contributors’ Writing and Intellectual Property and Fee Schedule
1) All contributors to Art Threat maintain complete ownership of their works, regardless of whether a fee is paid for the use of that work. When submitting a work for publication on Art Threat, contributors assign to the a license to use, distribute and display that work on the magazine’s website (www.artthreat.net). Any future use of the work outside of the scope of the website will be at the discretion of the creator.
2) All original, non-fiction editorial content on Art Threat is provided to the public under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.5 Canada License. When submitting such content for publication on the site, a contributor must agree to the terms of this license. For details visit http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.5/ca/.
3) Unfortunately, Art Threat has a very limited budget and cannot currently pay fees to contributors. As our financial situation improves, however, we plan on allocating a minimum of 10 percent of our total budget to writers’ and artists’ fees.
