Art Threat Magazine is seeking new contributors for our political art weblog. A forum to explore the relationship between politics and the arts, Art Threat features content from artists and writers around the world who embrace art that confronts, interrogates, or even shrugs off the status quo. Our website offers a stream of posts covering news, exhibitions, music and film reviews, interviews, commentary, and more. Whether your interest is in visual art or music, film or photography, architecture or literature, Art Threat will have content to keep you intrigued and inspired.
While contributing to Art Threat won't earn you any rent money, we can hook you up with free admission to events and exhibitions, review copies of albums and films, and leave you with that warm and fuzzy feeling one receives when building a groundbreaking new project. And to appeal to the selfish devils in all of us, blogging on Art Threat will help bring more attention and traffic to your website and your work.
If you would like to get involved, please email Rob Maguire at editor AT artthreat.net. Tell us a bit about yourself including who you are, where you are, and why you would make a good Art Threat contributor. We also encourage you to send along links to any websites, writing samples, or art that you may have online. Don't worry if you've never blogged before either — many of us over here are blogging virgins. The only requirements are that you love art that speaks out loud, and that you want to share it with the world.
